Operating and care instructionsInformation on the care and storage of Waldies shoes. The patented Comofotek® material is extremely durable and easy to care for, but the following care instructions should still be observed: ▪ WALDIES can be washed by hand or in the washing machine, but the maximum temperature of 40°C should not be exceeded. The maximum temperature must also not be exceeded when tumble drying. Prolonged exposure of dark-coloured shoes to the sun (car, balcony, beach, etc.) can cause the shoes to heat up to over 40°C. This should be avoided! ▪ WALDIES are acid and alkali resistant. The shoes can come into contact with acids, alkalis or chemicals without any problems. ▪ WALDIES can be treated with all common disinfectants (no heat treatment, see above). ▪ WALDIES are non-slip and abrasion-resistant. The non-slip properties are only guaranteed if the tread is sufficiently profiled. Wearing shoes with worn treads on wet surfaces can lead to a risk of slipping. Note on the antistatic design: The contact surfaces of the outsole and footbed should be cleaned regularly. Contamination of the contacts, especially with non-conductive materials (oils, greases), should be avoided or cleaned. Please note that wearing non-conductive footwear (e.g. stockings and socks with a high plastic content) can greatly reduce the dissipation of electrical charges. Waldies do not contain any harmful substances such as CFCs or plasticisers. If a PAH value is detectable at all, it is well below the EU Commission's limit values for toys and baby articles.
